[edit] Removing block on Wikipedia from district library
I know that we said we were not going to remove the block on editing Wikipedia from the district libraries until February 6th or so, but Courtni, Cruz and the others have not stepped into one of our establishments since the law had to get involved. Truly depressing, isn't it? It's amazing how one can get hooked to a website... so hooked that they did what they did. But a one-week block from the website helped to remove her from the libraries, so our first task is complete. I remember Courtni had told us that the users would not believe that the 64.231 address is shared by ten branches connected to Sympatico, but that's not of our concern. They don't need to believe whether the IP address is what it actually is or what they think it is; all we have to accomplish is one more task: ensuring that our customers are capable of editing Wikipedia under this IP without registered users accusing them of being Courtni. Now that I've registered an account, I'm positive that I will accused too. I'll keep you updated. Make sure to reply the next time you're working, which is... tomorrow? I believe it is. See you later! 64.231.70.165 20:46, 31 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Message from the public library
Adam, if it was you who had been using this computer during the time you were conducting your contributions, I would like to inform you that both Cruz and Courtni are going to be banned indefinitely from the public library in a matter of days. I am aware that your household IP address is similar to that of the public library's address (from what I've heard), but Wikipedia is not against the 192 range. Feel free to respond whenever your exams are complete. The 64.231 addresses will be blocked from editing Wikipedia until further notice.
If this was not Adam who had been using this computer, then I sincerely apologize. 192.30.202.14 21:20, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, it was me who'd accessed the computer at the time. To make matters seem rather... unusual, for lack of a better word, I am now editing under the Toronto Public Library IP address that you were editing under while sending the message (according to the library catalogue; the IP address may change). I suppose this means the IP range is not lengthy? I find this peculiar, considering the Public library possesses many more computers than that of the District library, which displays IP addresses galore. Anyway, I am unaware of when you will be receiving this message, but I've decided to create an account on Wikipedia. My exams are finally finished Kyle (after almost a month)! 192.30.202.12 19:10, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Jens Nielsen 23:41, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Ugliness, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- stubblyhead | T/c 18:58, 28 March 2006 (UTC)
You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. --Yamla 20:56, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
Please do not remove warnings from your talk page or replace them with offensive content. Blanking your talk page will not remove the warnings from the page history. If you continue to blank your talk page, you will lose your privilege of editing your talk page. Thanks. Hbackman 05:16, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
