[edit] Welcome

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 192.203.40.2). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Joelito (talk) 16:06, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

Will you engage in discussions? Or are you going to continue the changes even if they are opposed? Joelito (talk) 16:21, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mayaguez

The changes you are making to the Mayaguez article are not an improvement. The Table of contents becomes a mess with your changes. Joelito (talk) 18:33, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Why do you keep making the changes instead of discussing the changes in the talk page? Joelito (talk) 19:01, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Please stop the standarization. You are just making ugly (and empty) table of contents. Joelito (talk) 14:37, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright Violations

Some of the information you are adding are copright violations of http://www.linktopr.com. If you continue adding copyright violations you will be blocked. Joelito (talk) 15:47, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hi Joel

I commented on the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico page on discussion. Please take a look there.... I enjoy wikipedia and would like to make contributions to articles whenever possible.

First I thought the 78 municipalities should be updated with some standards. Once completed the pages could be cleaned up if needed. The finished product to be enjoyed with eaze of use by many users for years...

Sorry for copyright stuff. Perhaps I added to much about the flag and seal. The discription of the flag and seal should be OK - your thoughts.

Sorry, I was editing a couple of pages at once and missed your input.

PLEASE STOP MAKING THOSE CHANGES....Do you even see them?....You even have Footnotes misspelled....IT's a mess....STOP ALREADY. Joelito (talk) 16:54, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for catching that footnote mistake. By the way... you have misspelt easier words than that (for a person going for his masters)... You don't see me going into a fit.

That said, The Awards you have received is a nice accomplishment. It great you are going for your masters in "Engineering"

But, the attitude, you have to chill out. Not to worry, you're young. It comes as you mature.

Instead of criticizing.... welcome the help.

The individual municipalities of Puerto Rico have little of no information. Within a month, during this coming Hispanic Heritage Month most, if not all, the municipalities will have a plethora of information.

By the end of this period - Cleanup - Enjoy - and populate with new and current information.

You can take the credit. It's OK. I know that I have helped in what I have contributed and contributing.

Check out the other contributions I made. I welcome your input/comments.

This is where you take a deep breath, relax and say Oh what the .... yeah.

[edit] Please stop

Please stop. The standarization is very ugly. You are creating lists inside article which is considered very poor style for articles. Prose is always prefered over bulleted lists. Please review your edits. External links is spelled as External LInks. Why is demographics on top? Why is history (usually the first section) the third one? Joelito (talk) 21:39, 11 September 2006 (UTC) See, that didn't hurt. Baby steps.

[edit] Joelito

I'll fix External links on the pages that I edited as well as moving History up.

[edit] Utuado Page

Hello,

Question. What has happened to the Utuado page? Holy Sheez. I was the one who initially expanded the page from a stub a few months ago. It was my first time editing a page on Wikipedia and Joel's input and editing was superb. He magnificently cleaned up the text I had written and it all looked great. It made sense, it flowed nicely and was interesting to read. Now it looks messy and there is way too much going on. A lot of it is unnecessary and/or redundant. For example, I listed the barrios in the very first paragraph, why are they listed again down in the middle of the page? Another thing, why list tourist attractions if you're not going to say something about them? Lists are boring.

[edit] Standarization

Why are you continuing this? Many people have complained. Joelito (talk) 18:49, 19 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: San Juan

I am beyond the point of arguing or debating with you. You have been told by many people that your lists are ugly, and that your standarization, although in good faith, is poorly done. Why don't you take the time and write prose instead of lists? This is a free encyclopedia but it is built on WP:CONSENSUS. When no one agrees with you then you clearly lack consensus to implement your changes.

Also why do we need full anthems text? We are here to report verifiable facts not instruct people on lyrics. Those lyrics add little to the article since the article is about the city not the anthem. Are the lyrics to La Borinqueña in the Puerto Rico article? You may add lyrics to the sister project Wikisource and then link to them. Joelito (talk) 18:17, 27 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: 5 Articles

Hi - I think that the five articles you showed to me on my talk page would better serve the purpose as one article, with all the information together (as they are fairly short). I feel that it would be best if you worked on such an article and the submitted it to WP:AFC, where regular reviewers would be able to take a look. Thanks Martinp23 15:59, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

No problem! Martinp23 18:31, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
