17th Century religious Denominations in England
There were a large number of religious denominations who emerged during the early - mid 17th Century in England. Many of these were influenced by the radical changes brought on by the English Civil War, subsequent execution of Charles I and the advent of the Commonwealth of England. This event lead to a widespread discussion about how society should be structured, hence, many of these groups had values which today would be associated with socialism or anarchism.
