Ezekial 25:17 is a passage in the Jewish Bible that states "I shall perform frightul acts of vengeance on them they learn learn that I am God." A modified version of the passage was made famous by Samuel L. Jackson in the 1994 film Pulp Fiction. After Jules shoots Brett for saying "What!?" to many times Jules asks him if he reads the bible and then goes on to recite Ezekial 25:17.
"Ezekial 25:17, the path of the righeous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will shepards the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truely his bothers keeper, and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengance and furious anger those who attempt to poisen and destroy my brother, and you will know my name is the Lord, when I lay my vengance upon thee." Afterwards Jules and Vince shoot Brett nine times.
