This text was removed from the article for use elsewhere as needed. It doesn't support the 174th-175 St station article.

"From the 145th st. station (lower level) to the terminus at 205th street and Bainbridge Avenue, the "D" Line is a triple track system. The center express track is not serviced by a platform and is used as a layover spur track in the early morning hours. During rush hours this station is skipped by the "D" train running on the express track, downtown during the mourning rush (6:15 am to 9 am) and uptown during the evening rush (4pm to 6:45pm). The "B" train, which normally terminates at the 145th st. stop, provides local service in the Bronx during rush hours. "
