Much of what you added (back) in your most recent edit (which has no references in it, despite your edit summary) is duplicated elsewhere in the article. For example, Buchanan and Stevens are already covered in the history section above your edit, and the county commisioners' names and the offices and names of the other elected officials are given in the table below. Stevens was originally elected to Congress as a Whig (not a Republican). I would also combine Political History and Politics Today into one section. Be aware that if the statements are not verifiable (and references are the way to show this), they will be removed by other editors.
