- About 1630 – Work started on the Taj Mahal, designed by Ustad Isa.
- 1633 – Completion of the Palazzo Barberini in Rome by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. (begun 1627 by Maderno)
- 1633 – Opening of Santa Maria della Salute in Venice, designed by Baldassare Longhena.
- 1635 – work started on the Radziwiłł Palace in Vilnius
- November 7, 1638 – The Marian column in Marienplatz in Munich, the first one north of the Alps, was built.
