13th Cadaver is a Deathgrind band from Salt Lake City, Utah that was formed in 2006. Following a lineup change, the band began playing locally. They consider themselves one of the few contemporary "working" extreme metal bands in Utah, being that many of these bands are reluctant to play shows with the plethora of Metalcore "scene" bands that are prominant in Utah. Though the band is currently in search of a label, they have a firm belief in the DIY ethic.

On September 11th, 2006, the band entered the studio to record what is as of this writing, their only release, know as the Resurrected EP. The recording was done at Boho Digitalia and though it was intended to only be a demo, the band dubbed it their first EP due to the high production quality.
