[edit] Please help identify a similar movie

Can you identify a similar black and white movie from the 1950s or 1960s where the movie begins with a narrator (in the form of a voiceover) talking about a seventh son with seven sons, and he inherits a house with thirteen ghosts? I think it's very similar to this one, but the ghosts are unusually malevolent, and attempt (in their own way) to protect the treasure from trespassers. One of the ghosts is responsible for haunting a particular bedroom, and we are told in no uncertain terms that the room must remain empty. Then, when distant family members come visiting, an uncle or aunt is given the room that is haunted. So, predictably enough, the ghost raises the bed up to the ceiling, crushing the occupant. But later in the movie, to our surprise, the seventh son of the seventh son has the unusual power of commanding the ghosts to stop, and thus appears to have a "role" more or less appropriate to a Christ figure - with power over the dead. It's kind of like the flipside of Damien. If Jesus Christ were to make a Second Coming, would he enjoy the blessings of rebirth, and arrive in this world as a Seventh Son of a Seventh Son?
