[edit] Wikiproject numbers

We appreciate your contributions to the articles on numbers, even though we are not entirely certain what your rationale is. Could you discuss it at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Numbers? Anton Mravcek 19:11, 23 Nov 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Category:List of stars

  • Why are you moving articles from Category:Stars to Category:List of stars. Articles about stars, e.g. 14 Herculis, belong in Category:Stars, just like an article on a particular frog, e.g. Leopard frog, belongs in Category:Frogs. Please discuss these changes before you make any more. --David Iberri | Talk 23:58, Dec 8, 2004 (UTC)
    • This category contains article about taxa about the family level in the order Anura - the frogs and toads. According to the Category:Frogs statement, only articles in the Family (biology) level of frogs should be there, not the genera or species level articles. If it were to be similar to the frogs category, then individual stars would still not appear on Category:Stars page. 132.205.94.190 00:46, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
  • See Category talk:Stars#Category:List of stars for further discussions. 132.205.94.190 00:35, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

[edit] move request

I apologize for removing your request. I didn't think through my actions fully before acting. I've realized recently that I do that occasionally, and I'm working on checking myself. However, I do not appreciate what you said on my talk page (and I'm not sure exactly what your motives were for removing those comments, either). For the record, I am an admin and I do not 'think I'm God. On a side note, you should consider creating an account, if you plan on sticking around for awhile. I have seen that you've made some good contributions, and it's easier for people to communicate with you when you have a static account. Lachatdelarue (talk) 21:59, 4 May 2005 (UTC)

Just a suggestion, try previewing what you wrote before you save it, just to save the effort of going back and deleting it. Also, many users don't like it when someone else deletes stuff from their talk page, whether the person doing the deleting was the one that wrote it or not. (But it seems you have a similar problem to mine: not quite thinking things through before you do them, eh?) Lachatdelarue (talk) 22:06, 4 May 2005 (UTC)
