Blanking a section of a page, without getting consensus on the talk page, is considered vandalism. By continuing to delete the section, you are considered a vandal. If you feel strongly that the section doesn't belong on the 2008 Summer Olympics page, you need to discuss it on the talk page; convince others working on the article that your view is the right view; and go from there.
