[edit] Re: Revert

Not all of your information is correct. Countrylink trains do not stop at Mt Druitt station. Type of station refers to whether the station is on the ground, underground, or elevated above ground (Circular Quay etc). It is assumed that a taxi can be obtained from any station and thus that informatuion is not necessary. More importantly, Wikipedia requires that sources be provided for information and facts that are not common knowledge. Do you have an official source that says that Mt Druitt was a "test" station? Harryboyles 03:20, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

mt druitt was mark as a test station see planing information of mt druitt station it was also marked as a sky station as all sevices ticket, shops , toilets, train infomation was supplyed above the platforms.

mt druitt station is the fisrt station built precast

not all stations have taxis waiting

Even though you may be a State Rail employee, unless the general public can access this information, it makes it very difficult to verify this information. Under the Wikipedia:Verifiability policy, unless a suitable, reliable, accessible source can be provided, then information may be subject to removal. We do accept non-internet sources, again, as long as they can be accessed by the general public. As to taxis, people can ring up for a taxi. This information is provided on the CityRail website and the new infobox which is gradually being implemented provides a link to this information, therefore making the duplication useless. i reply again check your infomation . information can be sourced from cityrail ticket offices , city rail history department , parramatta city library ,blacktown city library, cityrail timetables , cityrail web site ,transport info line ,railfan sites, etc.

cityrail and the goverment promotes public transport in greater sydney including which station is best to catch a taxi from without the need to call for a taxi

please visit greater sydney before writing or using incorrect thinking about the transport system of sydney.

all content i have given is verifiable .

I'll simply put it this way:

The obligation to provide a reliable source lies with the editors wishing to include the material, not on those seeking to remove it.

play the game the right way under wikipedia diputes

Avoidance

The best way to resolve a dispute is to avoid it in the first place.

Be respectful to others and their points of view. This means primarily: Do not simply revert changes in a dispute. When someone makes an edit you consider biased or inaccurate, improve the edit, rather than reverting it. Provide a good edit summary when making significant changes that other users might object to. The revision you would prefer will not be established by reverting, and repeated reverting is forbidden; discuss disputed changes on the talk page. If you encounter rude or inappropriate behavior, resist the temptation to respond unkindly, and do not make personal attacks.

wikipedia is free for all to have a say. loged in or not

We also have rules governing what is allowed on Wikipedia. The Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research policies state that any material added to Wikipedia must be written in a neutral tone and supported with third-party, reliable sources. These policies underline the founding principles of Wikipedia and are vital to keeping the project on its feet. There has been much criticism as to the reliability of our content and these policies are in place to hold the reputation up. As part of this, the verafiability policy discusses three key points:
1. Articles should contain only material that has been published by reliable sources.
(No original research or opinion)
2. Editors adding new material to an article should cite a reliable source, or it may be challenged or removed by any editor.
(For facts other than common knowledge, provide a source (see Wikipedia:Citing sources), just like studentys are required to do at university.
3. The obligation to provide a reliable source lies with the editors wishing to include the material, not on those seeking to remove or question it.
(Just like a teacher isn't responsible to make sure something said by a student is true)
It also makes it difficult to resolve these issues with changing IP addresses, because it makes it harder for communication to be maintained. If you read the talk page for one of your previous IP addresses (User talk:58.165.28.232) you'll see where I've outlined the points that I felt required modification to some extent for the Parramatta railway station article. I am not being uncivil, but with the changing IP addresses it breaks the developing trust, because I see these IP addresses as four separate people subconsciously even though consciously I know it is one and the same. thankyou for parramatta- (User talk:58.165.28.232) the discussion area should be used before removeing information.

fyi teacher's are requried to check students homework for errors, omitions, copyright, cheating , spelling, copying and lies. from preschool to university and including work

I meant that teachers can challenge a student's work and aren't required to take responsibility for it. Can you also improve your spelling and grammar if possible as it has a huge impact on people's impressions, especially with this degree of anonymity, as well as signing your comments by using the "sign your name"" link below the edit box?
