The film centers on two strangers, an unnamed actor (listed in the credits as "Him") played by Freeman and a cashier played by Vega. Through circumstance, the two end up driving around Los Angeles together while having a number of conversations about life and exploring the differences and similarities between their worlds.

The film debuted in only 15 theatres, taking in just over $40,000 in its first weekend.[1]

Critical reaction to the film was mixed, with general praise for the work of the two main actors but some negative response to the simple plot. As of December 14, 2006 the movie has had 63% positive reviews according to Rotten Tomatoes.[2]
