10937 Ferris

Asteroid 10937 Ferris was discovered August 27, 1998 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search (LONEOS) at the Anderson Mesa station near Flagstaff, Arizona. The asteroid, designated 1998 QW54, is named in honor of William D. Ferris, an astronomy enthusiast who observed with the LONEOS project from 1998 to 2000.
