1066 DC

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

1066 DC is the title of a DVD of a driver's eye view, from Hastings on the Southern England coast, to London's Charing Cross station. The view comes from a late 1980s 8-car "4-CEP" in the much lamented Jaffa Cake livery. The driver's eye view was filmed in 1989, and it gives a much different taste to the line, stations and rolling stock at the time, than today's modern trains.

Although it is a semi-fast service, it seems that the train stops at a number of stations. The train calls at stations such as Battle, Tunbridge Wells, High Brooms, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Waterloo East and Charing Cross.

This DVD, along with many other driver's eye view films is made by Video 125.co.uk and can be purchased for £19.95.
