The Kindness Award of Ed | ||
This Wikipedian has received the Kindness Award from Ed for going the extra mile to be kind to another person. Kindness is important so that there may be an improved sense of community here on Wikipedia. As a reward, I offer this user a random piece of food. (I will never give the same food item out twice, so don't be jealous.) You may read a nice story on kindness over here. |
- Yay, jellybeaness! Many thanks mr. Doctor! ShakingSpirittalk 05:14, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Feel Better!
Sorry to see you're stressed. Hope that everything works out. It really sucks that you failed in school, but hey, grades aren't everything. Hope that the move works out well! Enjoy life, and live well. Have a great day! DoomsDay349 00:40, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Esperanza
I started a Esperanza on wikiquote. I am wondering if you will help me out by being its first president. Just make a link to your wikipedia user page. I hope you can help. Answer me on my talk page.--Sir james paul 20:44, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks, but no thanks. I believe that Esperanza should not be started in Wikiquote for various reasons. Thank you for the offer but I have to reject it. An Apple a day keeps -The Doctor- Away.. Or does it! (talk)(contribs) 22:42, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] pics
Yeah, I took them all in Adelaide with my own camera. They are on my commons account. Took some pics of the English cricket team at Adelaide Oval as well. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 06:10, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

- Did you take any photo's in the Marion Council Area? I don't have a camera and I am meaning to buy one.. Unfortunately my Camera Phone is not good quality and I can't put them on Wikipedia.. lol..--An Apple a day keeps -The Doctor- Away.. Or does it! (talk)(contribs) 06:13, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
- Um, no I don't see myself going there anytime soon. I'm in the northwest, and I took some pictures on the NW transport corridor whilst travelling to the city on the bus. As for the adelaide hills, I was there for an excursion because we had some international guests at university. The other stuff is city photos. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 06:31, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Dogs
Thank you for having joined the project recently. We're always glad to welcome anyone who wants to help in the field. Please feel free to go to the project page for any ideas on what might need work, or work to create or improve significant articles on your own. We are still a comparatively new project, and as a result we (that is, me) are still working on assessing all of the articles in the scope of the project, so we don't exactly know where we are just yet in terms of what are and are not the articles most in need of attention. One think that I at least would definitely appreciate any input on is determining what we think are the most important articles we have in the project. I am starting a new project sub-page at Wikipedia:WikiProject Dogs/Top-importance articles where I'm asking each of the members to indicate which articles they think are of top-importance to the project, as per the criteria on the Wikipedia:WikiProject Dogs/Assessment page. We can then try to focus some of our current attention on bringing the selected articles up to a higher standard. Your input in the selection would be very much appreciated. Thanks again for joining, and if I can ever help out in any way, please feel free to contact me. Badbilltucker 18:14, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article: Screw
I have worked in industries in both the US and Europe and have found hex to be more common in both regions. More importantly Allen is a trademark that became genericized. The photocopier article is not under xerox for the same reason. Allen redirects to Hex along with a dozen other trademarks that are/were used in other companies. So everyone will still find the article.
- My mistake.. But I still find that 'allen' has been used more commonly around but I could be wrong..--An Apple a day keeps -The Doctor- Away.. Or does it! (talk)(contribs) 04:50, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
