Erdosville is the name given to a small community of Mathematicians located near Lincoln, Nebraska and Omaha, Nebraska roughly in the village of Ithaca, Nebraska. Erdosville began simply as a location for a house built by Paul Erdős. Why he choose Ithaca, Nebraska is still up for debate as he was known as a rather eccentric individual. Regardless, while Paul Erdős never actually took residence in his house, the rumor that he might drew many Mathematicians to the area especially those who lived and worked in Omaha and Lincoln due its close proximity.
