Šarovce is a village and municipality in the Levice District in the Nitra Region of Slovakia.

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1075.

The village lies at an altitude of 146 metres and covers an area of 25.379km². It has a population of about 1650 people.

The village is about 47% Magyar, 38% Slovak, 14% Gypsy and 1% Czech.

The village has a public library a gym and football pitch.
