Şampiyon

Şampiyon is a fast food eatery in Istanbul's famous Beyoğlu district, on the European side of the city. It's situated at the entrance of Çiçek Pasajı (Market/Passage of Flowers). It's near Lycée de Galatasaray, a very old high school from Ottoman times. It's also near British Consulate.
Kokoreç (dish made of lamb intestine, with tomato, paprika and spices) and Zümküfül (fried beef sausage together with slices of green paprika, served with tomato sauce) are the specialities of the place.
Actually the place is known mostly as Şampiyon Kokoreç, by its flagship product.
Pickled green peppers and Ayran are served and goes very well with the menu.
It also has a branch in Kadıköy district, on the Anatolian (Asian) side of the city.
