The Świna (Pomeranian: Swina, German: Swine, Polish: Świna) is a central strait, river or a branch of the Oder River out of three straits connecting the Oder Lagoon with the Bay of Pomerania of the Baltic Sea, between the islands of Usedom and Wolin.

Form 1874 to 1880 the river was dammed and deepened, and the Kaiserfahrt (Piast canal) was dug, connecting the northern part of the Świna more directly with the Oder Lagoon and the harbor of Stettin (Szczecin). The river thus gained import as a direct waterway to this industrial city.
