Đurđa ("Đurđica") Bjedov (born April 5, 1947) was the only Yugoslav swimmer to ever win a gold medal at the Olympics in swimming. She was born and raised in Split, Croatia, to a family of Serb ethnicity.
The best Bjedov had ever done was third in her heat at the European Championships, two years before her finest hour at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. There she won the gold medal in the 100 m breaststroke and silver in th 200 m breaststroke, and broke the Olympic record in the 100 m breaststroke.
