Übermench

Übermench is a Danish duo consisting of Jens Birkelund Kristiansen (born April 28, 1977) and Lars Svendsen (born January 7, 1982). The two met in 2001 due to a common interest in poetry and soon began composing music together under the influence of such acts as Technotronic and Pet Shop Boys. The band signed a deal with Danish miniature label Hz Records in 2004 and released its debut album, Glorieprotese, later that year which was moderately well acclaimed by the Danish underground scene. The Glorieprotese-hit Døana (kill your darlings) appeared on the BSBTA-compilation, Danskbunden in 2005. Their follow-up is due to release in 2006.
