Østfoldbanen
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Østfoldbanen (the Østfold Railway) is a 137 km long railway line between Oslo and Halden where it continues to Gothenburg in Sweden crossing the boundary at Kornsjø. It runs through a number of cities in the county of Østfold. It was opened in 1879. There is a second railway, Indre Østfoldbanen (Inner Østfold Railway) which branches off from the main line at Ski, and runs further inland before rejoining the main line at Sarpsborg.
