Özgür Peştimalci (born 9 July 1981 in Adana) is the drummer for Turkish rock band Direc-t.

He was born on the 9th of July in 1981 in Adana. After the primary school he continues his studies at the Anadolu High School in Adana and starts his music adventure when he gets his first guitar during the first years of school. At 16 he learns to play the drums and becomes the drummer of his High School’s music band. As a high school band, they obtain various awards at Milliyet’s music competitions. In 1999 he moves to Istanbul to continue his studies at the University of Istanbul in the department of Business Administration. During his stay in Istanbul he meets with Bilge (vocals/guitars) once again and forms Direc-t. Ozgur except from being the drummer of Direc-t also joins several groups such as Jail Breakers, Cracker and Deniz Tuzcuoglu Band. Moreover, he plays in the band for the TV program ‘Sahane Pazar’ with Alex for 2 consecutive years. Now he still continues his studies at the University of Istanbul and also his music life only with Direc-t.
