Çiftelia is an Albanian authentic string instrument. It has just two strings. Çiftelia's scale lengths are different from one another. There are different sizes of Çiftelia. The number of its scales depends on its size. Çiftelia is made of wood. There also exists an amplified version. Its tones are similar with two highest guitar strings, E and B.

Çiftelia is commonly used by albanian folk musicians, but is used also by many other modern musicians.
