"Çankaya Üniversitesi" is a university owned by a private foundation in Çankaya, Ankara, Turkey. It was opened by President Süleyman Demirel in 1997 and has grown rapidly.
The university is smaller than most state universities but has bought an area for a new campus in Ankara, to be opened in 2009. The new campus will be the biggest in Ankara. Nevertheless the quality of education is high, the academic staff experienced.
