Ænema is a song by American progressive rock band Tool from the album Ænima. In 1997, Tool won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for this song. It is not the title track to the album, due to a slight difference in the titles' spelling.

Keenan sings of southern California sinking into the Pacific Ocean after a series of "natural" disasters. The basic theme is one which is repeated often in Tool lyrics; frustration with all things trivial, which Los Angeles is a cesspool for. The presented solution is a purging of LA from the face of the earth. Keenan incorporates part of comedian Bill Hicks' "Arizona Bay" routine (from the CD album of that name [1] into the lyrics, telling the listener to "learn to swim, see you down in Arizona Bay."
