¡Allá tú!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

¡Allá tú! (literal translation "It's Your Business") is the European Spanish version of Deal or No Deal. It has been broadcast by Telecinco in the early evening since 2003.

The top prize is 600,000. It had originally been €300,000, but it was changed due to a new text game where the money the contestant wins is split evenly between the contestant and the text winner (so if the contestant wins €600,000, he or she will win €300,000 and the text player will also receive €300,000). Usually, just one game is played, but sometimes two are played - one with the standard €600,000 prize, and another with a €1,000,000 prize. A special version of the show is sometimes broadcast on Friday nights, with a maximum prize of €2,000,000.

It was originally hosted by Jesús Vázquez (who, incidentally, is openly gay and frequently mentions his husband and their relationship on this show and the others which he hosts), but during Jesús's break to focus on another Endemol show, Operación Triunfo, Arturo Valls hosted. The current host of the daily show is Silvia Jato, though Jesús Vázquez continues to host the special €2,000,000 version of the show when it runs on Fridays.
