Hiya, my name is Brett Chubb. Im a proud Canadian from Scarborough who is currently residing in Guelph, Ontario, to get a double majored BA degree in English and Philosophy at the University of Guelph. I am now 21 as of April 18th and have been checkin' out Wikipedia since 2005, only to recently become a member and contributor. I hope to eventually make significant contributions in subjects like postmodernism, Continental Philosophy, Aesthetics (once i feel like i understand each to its entireity), and any music related entries im interested in.
I hope that one day wikipedia will gather all the knowable knowledge in the known universe, at which point i hope it considers changing its name to the Infosphere.
I've also vowed to read the article for every country in the world, by continent, in alhpabetical order, at a minimum rate of three per week. You know, so i can understand where i live.
After about 1000 edits I've realized I'm an eventualist/incrementalist exopedian and an avid stub supporter. I dabble in Wikionary very sparcely and contribute to the Commons whenever i snap a good pic at a concert or otherwise, but aside from that im focused solely on procrastinating with wikipedia.

The Mormon handcart pioneers were participants in the migration of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Salt Lake City, Utah who used handcarts to transport their belongings. The Mormon handcart movement began in 1856 and lasted until 1860. Motivated to join their fellow Church members but lacking funds for full ox or horse teams, nearly 3,000 Mormon pioneers from England, Wales, and Scandinavia made the journey to Utah in 10 handcart companies. Although fewer than ten percent of the 1847–68 Latter-day Saint emigrants made the journey west using handcarts, the handcart pioneers have become an important symbol in LDS culture, representing the faithfulness and sacrifice of the pioneer generation. The handcart pioneers continue to be recognized and honored in events such as Pioneer Day, Church pageants, and similar commemorations. The handcart treks were a familiar theme in 19th century Mormon folk music and have been a theme in LDS fiction, such as Gerald Lund's historical novel, Fire of the Covenant, and Orson Scott Card's science-fiction short story, "West."
