(Cevennes Elm)

The Wych Elm U. glabra cultivar Cebennensis, the Cevennes Elm, was raised by Audibert at Tonelle, France before 1830. Loudon described it thus: "Its habit is spreading like that of (the species), but it appears of much less vigorous growth." It is probably no longer in cultivation.
